YA Volunteers

SWPL's Young Adult Department offers volunteering opportunities for 7-12th graders during the school year and summer break. Interested individuals must register and be trained by Mrs. Newbury before beginning work. Sign-ups for volunteering sessions are posted well in advance of the time period the volunteer shifts will cover. Sessions fill up, so register early!

Parental permission and a signature is necessary for all YA volunteers. Forms are available at the library for parents to sign prior to their child's first volunteer shift. A printable form can be filled out and returned in person or to dnewbury@libraryconnection.info.

Any questions regarding the Young Adult Volunteering Program can be directed to Mrs. Newbury at dnewbury@libraryconnection.info or 860-644-5404.
