Books for Seniors
South Windsor Public Library offers off-site lending libraries for Senior housing and assisted living centers in town. Volunteers select approximately 75 books to bring to your facility. These books are replaced every three months or so. Although there are no overdue charges or bills for lost books, we do ask that staff (or other designated individual in the housing unit) makes a good faith effort to ensure that books are kept within the facility and returned to the same area every month so that our volunteers can collect them.

If you are interested in this service, please call 644-1541 and ask for the Information Desk.

Senior Bus Transportation
The South Windsor Department of Human Services is occasionally able to provide transportation to Library programs via the Senior Bus.  For more information, please contact the Human Services Department  860-648-6361.
