YA Books in Review…
Wed., Sept. 29th @ 7pm
…is a program for readers going into 6th grade and older that meets twice a month. These teens are asked to read the new YA books coming into the library and let us know if they enjoyed them or not. Some of the books will be given the group’s approval bookmark “Worth a Look” and a high-five sticker. Discussions can be quite energetic and opinions passionately given. We have a good time, great snacks and, best of all, this group gets first dibs at the new teen books !
Girls-F2F
Wed., Oct. 6th @ 7pm
This is a program for girls 10 to 13 years of age that will include fun social and developmental activities to help model and shape strong, young women. Guest speakers from the community will be joining us.
(We will be serving food and need to know about allergies.)
